Individual Supervision
Congratulations!!! You finished school, received the approval for the LGPC and got a job!! A dream come true. Now looking ahead.
Time to find a supervisor. You look at the list of the approved supervisors, puzzled you ask yourself, now what? How shall I find the best supervisor for me?
I suggest to narrow down the list to three supervisors that best match your area of preferred specialty. Read their bio, look up their credentials, advanced training in this preferred specialty, years of experience and most importantly their approach to supervision. Set up interviews and ask these questions in person. Ask yourself if this is the right supervisor for me? After all you are going to meet consistently and work together for the next year or two.
New graduates that come to my office are looking for guidance, feedback and encouragement. I see it as my personal mission to compassionately support them in their journey and assist in getting the LCPC license. We discuss and analyze cases and collaborate on finding the best therapeutic treatment. I believe in transferring knowledge and experience by providing many resources and techniques such as reading material, handouts and referrals. Tools that could be applied to the specific discussed cases and to future ones.
Supervision hours are available on weekday mornings. Fee is $100/hour.
